The Empowered Voice was founded on a belief in the power of individuals and communities to change the world for the better. We invest in helping others discover their inherent creative capacities through musical expression and liberating the voice.
As such, The Empowered Voice is affiliated and does work with a number of important mental health and other agencies in the capital city region. Recently, we have worked with drumAdrumDRUM (Marcus Fung), Edmonton Public School Board (Queen Elisabeth High School), and the Cerebral Palsy Association. Our primary focus is on supporting those working in the realm of mental health and women’s advocacy, though we are open to other initiatives that would benefit from our methods.
